God's not after our help, our money, our advice or our skills (even numchuck skills). He can do whatever he wants wether we're involved or not. He wants our love and our trust. In short he wants our faith. We just need to ask God where he's working and show up.tedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05409029710929131959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4598000692924480398.post-54789666819283447722005-02-11T17:03:00.000-08:002005-02-11T17:03:00.000-08:00Showing up is the hard part, isn't it?Showing up is the hard part, isn't it?tedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05409029710929131959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4598000692924480398.post-20022216570615757482005-02-14T16:08:00.000-08:002005-02-14T16:08:00.000-08:00I find myself frustrated by this only when I tryin...I find myself frustrated by this only when I trying to convince others of God's existence. One of the great gifts of faith for me is that I no longer feel the need to know everything, or to have all the answers. There is a sense of peace in knowing that God will take care of all of it, so I can focus on more important things. This undoubtedly will be regarded as a cop out or intellectual dishonesy by those who don't have faith. I wish I had something clever to say in response. I can only ask why would God give us all the answers? Does it serve his purpose or ours?Jake Shorehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10105477435201831448noreply@blogger.com
