In moments, a little child's arrival

How long we have been waiting to meet you, little Sarah! We can hardly believe that nine months have passed so quickly. Now, with only hours to go, we await the next dawn when we'll hold you in our arms for the first time.

It is strange to think that we will go to bed tonight as a family of three, and tomorrow night as a family of four. Your big sister can't wait to hold you, and judging by from the practice she's been getting with her dolls lately, to bounce you to sleep saying "sshhhh...". Don't worry, we'll make sure her excitement doesn't become too much for you. And when you're ready, she'll show you her kitchen, her stuffed animals, and her push-car. Just maybe, she'll invite you to come swing with her in the back yard.

Sleep warm tonight little one, a different world awaits you in the morning. We'll be there to hold your hand every step of the way.
